Q & A With Nick Munro Turner
If you were stuck on a desert island, what one book would you want with you and why?
The obvious choice for me is Shantaram. It is such a rich story and its attention to detail is superb. I’ve read it again and again and I’m still finding hidden depths to it!
What inspires you the most about the Worcestershire Literary Festival?
It’s fantastic to see areas that are usually quite quiet coming alive with people enthusiastic about the arts and storytelling!
Are you looking forward to volunteering to help with the WLF and why?
Yes I am! It’s always great to be part of something big that gets people out of their daily routines and explore their interests with a wide range of talented people.
Which book or poem do you wish you had written and why?
I really wish I’d have written ‘To Kill A Mockingbird’. To write a book that turns a mirror on the darker aspects of human society and highlights a major injustice and inspires people to take action against it would be something I’d love to take credit for!
