Rebuilt in 1764-66 St. Swithun’s is a stylish and completely unaltered example of early Georgian church architecture. It has all the furnishings of its time including a 1795 organ, box pews and an elegant three decker pulpit. The church is now run by the Churches Conservation Trust, a national charity that cares for historic churches no longer used for regular worship.
St. Swithun’s Church is wheelchair accessible.
Parking is available at the Corn Market car park, adjacent to the church.
