The Artrix is a versatile, multi-disciplinary arts centre with a 300 hundred seat auditorium, a spacious dance studio, meeting rooms and a visually stunning foyer/gallery. It has an annual programme of over 200 specialist film screenings, 400 workshops and 12 exhibitions as well as a live programme of over 200 performances including chamber and orchestral concerts, jazz, blues and folk gigs, stand-up comedy, cutting edge theatre and dance and more traditional community produced theatre.
The venue has disabled access, disabled toilets on each floor and an infra-red system for the hard of hearing.
